Reviews for DWELL AT KENT STATION

Modern Apartments

Can't beat the location! There are plenty of restaurants, shops, and a movie theater right at the Kent station. Showare center is a short walk away so you won't have to worry about parking for events. Also the public transportation such as Sounder train and buses are available at the Kent station. The price is a bit steep (parking and storage has extra fee) for Kent but rent everywhere else is going up so it is worth it for the amenities and the location. The building is secure with access control.

Living at Dwell

I've been living at Dwell since the end of June. This is the first place I've lived on my own. My apartment is located directly across from the courthouse and the street traffic below can get VERY VERY noisy!! As far as the moving in process that was pretty simple. Telli was awesome with any questions I had and was just all around cool. One thing I wasn't to fond of was all the fees HAD to be paid using 2 separate cashier's check and NOTHING else. I found that a little annoying. Another thing I wasn't to fond of was actually moving in. They have 2 elevators, one being similar to a freight elevator. You can't really use the stairs being you need a key fob to get into pretty much every door on the premises. Even the elevator you need your key fob to press what floor you need to go to. Although that's kind of nice for security purposes. When I moved in I noticed the building had an infestion of millipedes which took them longer than I would have liked to take care of. They did end up giving me $200 off of rent for one month for the issue. The amenities are nice. The lounge area is nice, along with the rooftop bbq area. What sucks is some people ruin it for everyone! There is a lovely cleaning lady Jill who is in charge of the main areas and does a nice job. I also like the fact that there is garage parking. There are pros and cons to everything and overall I love it here. I would renew my lease!!! Pros *Covered garage parking *Newer building *Feel safe for the most part *Kent Station shopping and eating within walking distance *Fun little things for residents to participate in (coffee, contests) * Living here gets you discounts at certain stores and restaurants at Kent Station Cons *Between street traffic and trains VERY NOISY *Rent prices are insane *Lack of security for the lounge areas

Great place to live

Dwell at Kent Station has been a great experience. Their apartment is right at the edge of Kent Station mall which has a ton to offer. The apartment is very clean and still feels new. The staff is very responsive and very helpful. There is a gym, multiple community patios include a rooftop bbq area, it offers garage parking, a gym, and the security that patrols the mall also looks after our complex. I am really glad I found this place and hope to be here for many years.

Great Location!

Great use of space. Our unit has a beautiful large outdoor patio that we love! The location is very convenient right at Kent Station. We like the modern and contemporary finishes. There is also the convenience of a parcel drop off box for all of our Amazon deliveries. If you have more than one car, parking is not sufficient. We have 2 cars. The wait for a garage space is long and parking in the shared lot is difficult as that lot belongs to the community college and we only have access late evenings and Sundays. If you only have one car, you should be fine! There is a shared car vacuum and now we have power for charging electric cars! Don't miss the bike stowage area and dog run!

Wonderful place to call home

This place is wonderful! Very nice apartments, great atmosphere and wonderfully kept. The only downside here is the parking, there is not much to speak of really and if you have more than one car it can be a pain trying to find a place you wont get towed. The staff here is wonderful and very attentive, they even remember me somehow :). I love this place and will continue to recommend this place to all of my friends. Thank you all for such a nice place to call home.

Fair Accomodations

The main feature of the apartment is the location. There are movie theatres, eateries, stores, libraries, downtown, salons, banks, T-mobile, Verizon, Massage, Martial Arts, Chiropractor, College, Orthodontist, Barber, municipal court, parks, and prison. The only drawback is that Safeway is not quite walking distance.

Review for Dwell at Kent Station Apartments

I just want to say that there is rooftop access at Dwell. There is also a Bar-B-Que there. It smells like steaks and I love the smell of steak. There are two elevators and they both work fabulously. Neither of them has ever broken while I was riding in it. The buttons are clean and made out of metal. It usually takes less than a minute max for the car to arrive. Anyways, there are stairs one could use for exercise if so inclined. What else? Um, the people are really nice. If you need to borrow some salt or sugar, they'll probably like let you use theirs. People are very kind and considerate. Nobody is obnoxious with their noises and if they are, security comes and handles it. It's civil and peaceful. There are no decorations in the hallways. It's just plain white, but that can be a good thing. I should say there are some potted plants though. They look real and they might be. Oxygen.

Beautiful Apartments

We really like the layout and the finishes of this apartment. And we really love the large private patio that comes with our unit. The apartment is stylish and modern. While it is located at a train station, the windows are high quality and block out that sound. If you have more than one car, you will not be happy here, the parking situation is difficult unless you are a single car family.
